About Idea Sciences
Idea Sciences provides support to decision-makers through a range of unique tools and services. Our organizational development professionals and software designers have extensive experience (between 7 and 30 years each) in the field of decision support.
Our focus is on the application of decision making software and research to solve complex organizational problems that cannot be addressed via "traditional" problem-solving routes.
Headquartered in Alexandria Virginia.
Idea Sciences was founded in 2001 via a management buyout of Science Applications International Corporation's Leadership 2000 consulting division. The division's staff perceived an opportunity to emphasize the product side of the business, which was not feasible within the framework of a larger consulting organization.
Leadership 2000 was built upon 30 years of research in the area of organizational creativity and decision-making, and provided assistance to "blue chip" organizations such as AT&T, Arthur Andersen, Coca Cola, General Motors, International Monetary Fund and NASA, PEMEX (Mexico National Oil Company) and Procter & Gamble.
Since 2001, Idea Sciences has emphasized the development of sustainable solutions — problem-solving systems that can be transferred to client organizations to drive continuous, long-term improvement.
